Eric Hastings is a musician. His professional music career has included a wide variety of touring, recording, and teaching experiences. He has composed and produced music for TV & Film. As a drummer he has performed and recorded with jazz combos, rock groups, singer-songwriters, world music ensembles, hip hop collectives, Top-40 bands, electronic acts, blues bands, and experimental artists. Born in New York, raised in Atlanta, tanned in Miami, tawlked in New Jersey, rained in Seattle, Eric now calls Providence, RI home. April 2008: After six months of chemo, 2 surgeries, and radiation, my wife Meredith is finally finished with her cancer treatments! The outlook is good and she is slowly beginning to get her energy back. This last year has definitely been full of challenges, but she has kept a positive attitude throughout this whole ordeal. Thanks to all our friends and family who have called, emailed, written, listened, fed us, refered us to additional doctor's and other opinions, and just generally supported us through this. Your love and support is greatly appreciated. We are still planning on moving to Providence, RI for her job at Brown University, however she has pushed back her start date to July 1, 2008. We're both looking forward to a fresh start and a healthy 2008-2009.
